THE MOON is a 150-capacity live music venue, bar & club on Womanby Street in Cardiff. We put on gigs, clubnights, music community events, alldayers, fundraisers and small festivals.
it's run by Creative Republic Of Cardiff. money goes back into improving the venue and local music scene.
OPENING TIMES - Sun-Thu open when there's a gig on, check our calendar. Wed open til 3am, Fri-Sat 5pm-4am.

Transport / Parking
FIND US - The Moon, Womanby Street, Cardiff CF10 1BR. Womanby Street is by the Stadium, between Westgate street / St Mary Street.
TRANSPORT - Cardiff Central train station is 5 minutes walk - visit The Trainline website
Most Cardiff buses stop on Westgate St around the corner - visit the Cardiff Bus website
PARKING - For cars, use the NCP on Quay Street CF10 1Ea, which is £3.60 all night after 5pm.
For vans/oversized vehicles or arriving in the daytime, use the rugby ground car park on Westgate St which is £7 all day/£5 night (go through the large 'Memorial Gates' at the lights by the castle, then pay the guy in the cabin).
Access / Facilities
The Moon is a ground floor venue, with flat access through double doors, which are fixed open.
There is a gender neutral toilet, which is large enough for wheelchair users and with grab bars.
Free ear plugs are provided at the bar. Seating available.

We host monthly events for adults with learning &/physical disabilities &/mental health conditions, run in collaboration with Student Volunteering Cardiff. For more details and if you're attending for the first time please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Working Towards a Safe Space
We want everyone to feel comfortable at our venue and to have an awesome time. We will not tolerate harassment, violence, aggression or discrimination. that includes "just banter".
If someone is bothering you, if you feel uncomfortable or threatened, or if you see someone being HARASSED, please speak to a member of staff immediately (bar or security). don't be a bystander.
