THE COURETTES (Damaged Goods) "Matching the garage rock ferocity of THE SONICS to early 60s girl groups, THE COURETTES' output is utterly feral in the most addictive possible way. Reminiscent of THE RONETTES given a RAMONES overhaul, their evil charms arrive covered in blood-soaked glamour. Twanging guitar and raucous percussion, 'Hop The Twig' is a gonzo take on surf music, a wild head-long charge into the unknown" Clash. Courettes website / Spotify

Psych garage power-pop pros KEYS have been pretty busy the last couple of years. Welsh Music Prize-nominated ‘Bring Me The Head Of Jerry Garcia’ came out just before the pandemic struck, then during lockdown the lo-fi album ‘Home Schooling’ suddenly appeared, recorded on Matthew Evans’ 8-track, containing some real gems like opener ‘This Side Of Luv’. Apparently they’re already working on new material. Another act on the consistently brilliant Libertino Records. Keys on Spotify / Twitter

ALICE HUBBLE is "the product of one lady locked at home and her enormous collection of synthesizers" - her debut album was layered with vintage synths and mellotron - majestic, and sweeping, offering a soundscape of pastoral solace, far removed the urban sprawl in which it was conceived. Following support slots with Beak> and Damo Suzuki, Alice's next album comes out later this year! "adventurous electroprog" - Electronic Sound
