Join us for a night of readings and psychedelic music celebrating the launch of Trask Award winning author LLOYD MAKHAM’s new novel ‘Fox Bites’: a coming-of-age horror fantasy set amidst the turbulent backdrop of early 2000s Zimbabwe published by Parthian Books.
Extracts of the book set to the author’s own music and visuals – with live accompaniment from multi-talented singer-songwriter-psych-rock guitarist TOM EMLYN, cosmic sitar-folk artist GARETH DAVIES, queer noise-punk savant CHARLIE MILES of Liquid Library + HAUL+ im dead, experimental saxophonist / synthesist ROB SMITH, synthesist / vocalist MARTIN LLOYD CHITTY & more.
Support from Joshua Jones – author of the Dylan Thomas prize nominated Local Fires – and his new spoken-word-meets-doomy-ambient duo HOWL & JONES.
