The various crises we’re facing can be a real challenge. This Open Mic night is open to all (18+) who want to share a moment of art, music & expression celebrating our planet, other living beings, other humans, love, hope - but also grief, outrage, despair - all true emotions are valid.

Come and share a contribution - it could be a poem, a song you listen to when you’re happy, a text you wrote, a song you composed, a dance that inspires you. On the night there’ll be a line up sheet for anyone to add their name.

This is a safe space. To ensure everyone feels welcome and included, the audience is asked to give everyone who is contributing their attention, space, time to get ready and feel comfortable. There’ll be time between performances for talking. You’re welcome to perform several times as long as everyone interested has the chance to share their piece.

If you’re a musician then you are encouraged to bring your own instruments and any power supply (eg for a keyboard), leads etc. We’ve got a full band PA, instrument & vocal mics, DI boxes but it’s helpful to know what you’ll be doing in advance, especially if it’s more than just a vocal or acoustic guitar/vocal.
