Cardiff’s JUNIOR BILL is the project of frontman and songwriter Rob Nichols. The band has been thrilling audiences through the small venues, pubs and festivals of the UK & Ireland since 2013. From teenage beginnings rehearsing in Cathays Youth & Community Centre, they have since self-released a string of EPs, singles and an ambitious, award-winning live concert film called 'Above Your Station' in 2017. In the live music scene they’ve made a lasting impression, opening for SUPERGRASS during their reunion shows after a supporting tour with drummer Danny Goffey, then last year making their debut at GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL.
Much of Nichols' writing reaches into the lives of other people with an unusual intellect and an open empathetic spirit.
"political maturity set against a childlike honesty that makes Junior Bill so intriguing” - Gigwise
The band are also known for their well crafted concepts with artistic relish surrounding releases. 2017’s self-titled EP saw a guerilla marketing campaign surrounding the fabled “Wolf In Grangetown” which ended up capturing the imagination through a series of national headlines.

GENERATION FERAL (Izzy Liddamore) is a female solo artist and songwriter originally hailing from Essex, but now based in Cardiff. A self-confessed "sad piano lady" inspired by the likes of Kae Tempest and Fiona Apple, her music aims to depict the experiences of being part of the new wave of adults in 2023, and the slew of emotions that naturally accompany the lived experiences of those part of the "feral generation". Believing in songs that make a point, her piano and ukulele-led music often dips into spoken word, ruminating on stigmatised topics such as mental health, generational trauma and the energy crisis. With spikey lyricisms and a human authenticity that tries to find art within the mundane, Generational Feral is a powerful on-stage presence. Her latest single, "the kids are not alright", saw play on BBC Essex and was met with high praise, and she is currently working on her debut EP, set to be released in the next few months.
Venue opens 12pm, vegan food served 12-8pm (pizza week), bands from 8pm-10.30pm, MK-Ultra goth industrial electronic clubnight after til 3am (last new entry 2am).
