SILENT FORUM split their time between Cardiff, London, Bristol and Barcelona. Their sound is equally unconventional - multifaceted pop music with confident but subtle streaks of dark energy. It’s textured pop-post-punk that equally rejects three chord song structure and monochrome doom. ADERYN blends sardonic, confessional lyrics with hooky guitars. She mixes together her indie and pop influences to create something that sounds like “Beabadoobee if she had a lot of caffeine." As a teenager she grew tired of life on a sheep farm in the Brecon Beacons and left home at 16 to become a drummer in a grunge band. She soon realised that the singers were having all the fun, running around the stage and chatting to the crowd. Besides, all that drum gear is very heavy.
